BECOMING A FOOTBALL COACH
If you’re an enthusiastic football fan and would enjoy helping others become better at the game, this could be the perfect role for you.
Football coaches develop the knowledge, techniques and motivation of football teams and players.
To become a football coach you will need to take Football
Association (FA) and UEFA coaching qualifications and have the
energy and enthusiasm needed to inspire others.
You need good communication skills to get your ideas across.
GNG FC COACH DEVELOPMENT
GNG FC runs a programme where it provides opportunities for aspiring coaches to gain the experience and qualifications to carry out the role of a football team coach.
Whether an individual wishes to gain experience and qualifications to coach at a grassroots level at GNG FC or they wish to start here and eventually make a career in coaching at a professional level, we can help you gain all of the experience and qualifications required.
We currently have coaches that have gained FA Level 1 through to UEFA A licence at the club.
Some coaches from the club have gone onto get employment at professional football clubs, universities and other organisations as coaches.
